Analysis Of Reservation In India According To Caste & Religion

Reservation was added to our constitution for stabilising the society by making an equilibrium condition between each castes and religions. It was the demand of the situation of India that time because there was a lot of difference in terms of standard of living of various castes and it was very necessary to stabilise it, if India had to develop. That is why the drafters of constitution added reservation on the basis of caste and religion of people for several years. Up to the  completion of such years, the politics of India was totally changed and the mind of rulers was set up to rule the country instead of developing India. Means the greed of power started there and the rulers became politicians from the freedom fighters because of which they got the ruling capacity.

And just because of greed of power they started calculation of vote banks and considering peoples as their vote not their responsibility. And as there was a large number of people or in other words there was a large number of  votes getting the profits of reservation, the politicians started the extension of reservation, not only in terms of duration while they also increased the percentage of reservation and introduced reservation in almost each and every field.

It is a fact that no one wants to reject whatever they are getting on subsidised rates or free and I don't think that they should be blamed because it is the nature of human to get more in making least effort. And that is why the reservation started ruling the countrymen such as a parallel government and it attained main point of focus for every politician. Now the condition of country is that nothing is untouched by this reservation.

Let us see the main effects of this type of reservation:

Case-I

Let us consider that there are three boys named A, B and C and they are classmates in the standard XII. Boy A comes under SC category, boy B comes under BC category and boy C comes under GENERAL category. All of them were preparing for Engineering and appeared in AIEEE. Thereafter their result arrived and C got the best rank thereafter B and A achieved the last rank among them. But due to effect of reservation C was not allowed to get admission in Engineering because of category rank of B and A. So, B & A got admission and started studying engineering. As B was more talent and having better IQ as well as he more laborious than A, he performed well and got better marks in engineering exams. And after the completion of engineering both A and B appeared in Indian Engineering Services Examination. As B was more talented than A, he got better rank than him in this examination also but as he was of BC category he was rejected and A was appointed as Engineer. Now, let us see the academic reports of A, A was a dull student among A,B & C and he is now a government engineer and the development of the country is now on his shoulders. Just think, all this shows that due to reservation, many 3rd class persons are appointed as government engineers every year then is it possible to develop our country by doing so? Is it not right that A is a forcedly made engineer not an engineer by his talent?
By considering the above case I think everyone shall satisfy with the below statements:

1. If C would be given the chance of being engineer, it might be more beneficial for the country.
2. If B would be selected for IES, it might be better than A.

Case-II

Let us consider that there are three boys named D, E and F and they are classmates in the standard XII. Boy D comes under SC category, boy E comes under BC category and boy F comes under GENERAL category. All of them were preparing for Medical and appeared in AIPMT. Thereafter their result arrived and F got the best rank thereafter E and D achieved the last rank among them. But due to effect of reservation F was not allowed to get admission in Medical because of category rank of E and D. So, E & D got admission and started studying medical. As E was more talent and having better IQ as well as he more laborious than D, he performed well and got better marks in engineering exams. And after the completion of medical both D and E appeared in AIIMS Examination. As E was more talented than D, he got better rank than him in this examination also but as he was of BC category he was rejected and D was appointed as Doctor. Now, let us see the academic reports of D, D was a dull student among D,E & F and he is now a government doctor and the life of the countrymen is now on his shoulders. Just think, all this shows that due to reservation, many 3rd class persons are appointed as government doctors every year then is it possible to develop our country in terms of medical conditions by doing so? Is it not right that D is a forcedly made doctor not a doctor by his talent?
By considering the above case I think everyone shall satisfy with the below statements:

1. If F would be given the chance of being doctor, it might be more beneficial for the country.
2. If E would be selected for AIIMS, it might be better than D.

Note: God don't follow this discrimination and he gives talent to all his children either we call him GENERAL, BC or SC/ST, then why should we allow only those who falls under the categories made by us. Undoubtedly there are a lot of SC/ST people having a higher degree of talent and IQ and similarly there are a lot of GENERAL categorized people having a lower degree of talent and IQ means talent and IQ can't be achieved by born in any category while it is different case.
So, we should provide reservation on the basis of talent not on the basis of caste or religion.

Now, let us see why the cancellation this type of reservation is impossible:

Let consider that you are a politician and you know that this reservation is destroying the standard of our country but on the other side you also know that the majority of votes because of which you won the election was given by the people getting the profits of reservation, then what will you do ?
If you try to initiate any movement against the reservation then it might be the ending of your political carrier because your opponents will prove you as the enemy of such people. I may confirmly say that you have decided to go ahead with this reservation weapon because you know it clearly that no one in your family can be harmed because of it because if someone got unhealthy you may go abroad for treatments or you may reach the high cost private hospitals in the country too, which is unaffected by such forcedly made doctors. Not only that while for everything you may hire best professionals by paying heavy amount. Means overall this reservation is not harming politicians while they are becoming more and more powerful day by day by adopting reservation.

Let us consider that you are a businessman and you own a Institution and you now it clearly that unacceptable students may also get admitted in your institute because of this reservation. Then what will you do ? I again think that you will move ahead with the reservation because you know it clearly that the people without reservation will have to pay the full fees while the people with reservation will get their majority of fees from various agencies of the government. And that is why targeting such people by saying that they will complete their course either free of cost or by paying minor fees, is much more easier. And by doing so you may make a great profit not only financial while you may also show it that you are doing a society welfare work and all these things can make you great person.

Means it is clear from above two paragraphs that any politician or any businessman can not initiate anything against the reservation because they are transforming the reservation into cash and other types of profits.

Then is it possible to initiate any movement against reservation by common people. Let us see.....


If you are getting the profits of reservation and you are a greedy person then undoubtedly you shall never initiate anything against it.
If you are not getting the profits of reservation and you initiate any movement then people will think that you are a jealous person.
Means it is confirmed that this reservation can't be stopped. But it doesn't mean that it is irresolvable. It may be resolved.


Way to resolve reservation:

Reservation can't be stopped but it can be transformed. Means the reservation policy should be changed and it should be made available on the basis of economical condition of any person. It is a fact that India needs equity in terms of financial condition. For proving it just consider the following case.

Let I and II is of GENERAL category and III and IV is of SC/ST.I & IV are millionaire while II is a beggar and III is a middle class person.
Then what is the possibility of friendship between them?
Do you think I and II shall become friends to each other as both of them are having same caste?
I can say it confirmly that your answer is no because it is a fact that a person does friendship with anyone if he is having same or nearby same economical condition not by considering their caste.
Means there is a rare chance of friendship between I & II. But the chance of friendship between I & IV is very realistic. Not only that while the chance of friendship between II and III is also very rare.
All these things show that if we have to make a stabilised society then each element of the society should have the same or nearby same economical condition and the condition of economy is not subjected to the caste of the person, as person of every caste and religion consists of poor middle and rich classes.
That is why the need is to provide reservation of economical help on the basis of economical classes.

It's Effect:

Case-III

Let us consider that there are three boys named G, H and I and they are classmates in the standard XII. Boy G is poorest and boy H is poorer than boy I, it doesn't matters under which category (Caste or Religion) they are. All of them were preparing for Medical and appeared in AIPMT. Thereafter their result arrived and all of them qualified. But due to poverty G was not able to pay all fees and H was also not able to pay some fee. That's why they didn't got admission in Medical but as they are talented and having nice IQ as well as they are laborious that is why they should get the reservation support from government according to which H will have to pay minor fees and G should allow to study without any fee. And after the completion of medical each of them will become talented doctors who will be capable of treating any disease with proficiency. And by doing so they will develop our country with much more efforts than as of Case-II.

All things written above shows it clearly that we should now initiate this transformation as soon as possible otherwise the discrimination will goes on increasing.
